1 large sweet potato, peeled (½ pound)
- Use a sharp knife to create a flat side on the sweet potato. Then use a mandoline to create ¼-inch thick slabs. If you don’t have a mandoline you can use your knife, but be extra careful to make each slice evenly thick.
- Pop one sweet potato slice in each toaster slot and set to medium. Remove the sweet potato slices after each round of toasting and stick with a fork to check for doneness. This can take anywhere from four to six rounds, depending on the thickness of your sweet potato and how powerful your toaster is.
