It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Don’t worry, I’m not going to break out into song – but I am filled with joy that the holiday season is upon us. I don’t know about you, but I love buying gifts for my family and friends. And I’m not just saying that. I’m serious! I keep a running list of holiday gift ideas going all year long so I have a good batch to choose from once Thanksgiving is over. Yes, I may be a little late to the shopping game. But I just can’t bring myself to start buying gifts until after the big meal. I have to focus on one holiday at a time, and Thanksgiving needs its time to shine.

Anyway, another Tofurkey Day is on the books and the time to shop has finally arrived. If you (or someone you know) switched to a vegan meal plan this year, the holidays are a great time to buy and try new kitchen tools, cookbooks, and other fun goodies that complement your healthy new lifestyle. If adopting a plant-based diet is one of your New Year resolutions, perhaps you're looking to fill your wish list with some items to get you started. Whatever has brought you to this guide, we hope the list of products below helps you find the perfect holiday gifts for your favorite vegan.

Kung Fu Tonic
My roommate had a little bottle of Kung Fu Tonic on our kitchen counter so I decided to add a few drops to my stir-fry. Holy cow. This stuff instantly adds amazing flavor to any dish. Even better – this blend of hot roots and powerful herbs is non-GMO and certified organic. It’s a tad pricey to keep stocked in your kitchen full time, which makes it a perfect gift or stocking stuffer.

DIY Bibimbap Kit
The folks behind Crazy Korean Cooking have packaged everything you need to enjoy delicious, authentic Korean food at home with their DIY Bibimbap Kit. It includes all of the essential Korean mountain vegetables and seasonings necessary to get that authentic flavor you crave. Just buy a few fresh veggies and some tofu and you’re good to go. This is a great idea for a date night at home.

Artisan Handcrafted Vegan Cheese
For many people who switch to a vegan meal plan, giving up cheese is the hardest part. Luckily, Miyoko’s Kitchen has come out with a line of vegan cultured nut products that taste like the real thing. No kidding! The Traditional Collection is reasonably priced and comes with three varieties that can be used in everything from gourmet sauces to hot sandwiches.

Monthly Vegan Snack Box
One of the best parts about switching to a vegan meal plan is getting to explore a whole new world of foods. This can be both exciting and overwhelming – especially if you don’t know where to start. The solution? Spoil your favorite vegan with a subscription to Vegan Cuts Snack Box. He'll get 10 vegan goodies delivered to his front door every month.

Food Dehydrator
For the health and money conscious vegan on your holiday list, a food dehydrator is a perfect gift. Your friend or family member can save money by making her own dried fruit, herbs, fruit leather and more. Being able to make your own healthy snacks in a matter of hours? Yes, please. This Nesco 4-Tray Dehydrator is so affordable and practical I may add one to my list, too.

Avocado Saver
As a general rule, vegans love avocados. But when cooking for one (or even two), you rarely use an entire avocado all at once. As I’m sure you know, it’s pretty tricky to save half of an avocado in the refrigerator without it turning brown. Luckily, there is a solution. The Avo Saver reduces a cut avocado’s exposure to air, which slows the oxidation process way down. This handy kitchen gadget makes a great stocking stuffer!

Shopping for a vegan can be puzzling if you don’t know where to look. I hope this vegan holiday gift guide is a helpful start as you begin crossing names off of your list.

What are you buying for your favorite vegan this holiday season?
