Did you know that there’s a difference between a crock pot and a slow cooker? I always thought they were the same thing. Honestly, the disparity isn’t that interesting, so I’ll spare you the details – especially since both appliances will work on those nights when you want to be as hands-off as possible in the kitchen.
Though fall is supposed to be a time to slow down and enjoy the change in seasons, I’m finding myself busy almost every evening. What gives? As soon as Katie and I are done writing and testing recipes for the Well Vegan cookbook, I look forward to busting out my crock pot (or is it a slow cooker?) and taking a mini break from cooking and washing dishes. Because who has time for that seven days a week?
Since most of you are probably not writing a cookbook right now, there’s no reason you need to spend as much time as we do in the kitchen. You’re super busy, so why not nail down a few vegan crock pot recipes your family loves and keep dinnertime simple? We found a few dishes below that we think you’ll have on steady rotation through Thanksgiving and beyond. Bonus: Your house will smell amazing.
