Ah, Valentine’s Day. Some love it, a few hate it, and others are indifferent. I fall into the latter category. Don’t get me wrong – I think it’s important to show your loved ones you care. But shouldn’t we do that every day of the year? That being said, a holiday that encourages me to load up on sugar, send my friends and family cute little notes, and hug everyone who crosses my path is a day worth celebrating in my book.
Now, back to the sugar. I’m not normally one to indulge in sweets, but when I do they have to be good (and align with my vegan meal plan, of course). Whether you’re romancing your friends, family, a partner or yourself, the week leading up to Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to go wild in the kitchen and experiment with vegan baking. Here are a few of our favorite chocolate-y vegan Valentine’s Day recipes that will satisfy your sweet tooth and leave your loved ones begging for more.
