The Super Bowl is coming up this Sunday. Do you typically tune into the game? To be honest, I don't really care about football but I do enjoy the tradition of plugging into the couch and watching Super Bowl commercials.
Whether you're really into the game or only tune in for the halftime show, I think we can all agree that Super Bowl Sunday isn't complete without savory snacks.
This Game Day Cauliflower Wings Board is straight from the pages of my new cookbook, Vegan Boards, (check out the sneak peak of the Vegan Boards cookbook here) and it's the perfect spread for sharing with a small group!
This Game Day Cauliflower Wings Board has not one, not two, but THREE different wing flavors. You've got:
- Classic Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
- Sticky Sesame Cauliflower Wings (my favorite)
- Sweet & Spicy Adobo Cauliflower Wings
Depending on the size of your cauliflower head you can expect to make 75 to 100 wings total - perfect for feeding a small group of sports fans. Or non-sports fans! I mean, regardless of your interest in football, how can you resist these savory, saucy, tender cauliflower bites?
There is a degree of prep involved in creating this Game Day Cauliflower Wings Board. The good news is that a lot of it can be readied ahead of time. Pre-slice your celery and carrots and store the veggie sticks in cold water in the fridge.
Make the vegan ranch the day before, or use store-bought for a shortcut. Fresh pineapple can be tricky (and messy) to slice perfectly, so I like to buy it pre-sliced when I'm in a crunch.
If you like the variety of flavors and textures on this Game Day Cauliflower Wings Board, you're going to LOVE the 49 other plant-based appetizer, meal, seasonal, and dessert boards in Vegan Boards.
The hardcover book is stuffed with beautiful photos, creative serving ideas for small groups, and over 60 new vegan recipes you won't find anywhere else.
By the way, you don't need an official board to make and serve these cauliflower wings. An extra-large baking sheet or even a hunk of plywood covered with parchment paper would work perfectly!
Have fun styling your board and don't stress if it doesn't look perfect. These saucy cauliflower wings will be eaten so fast you'll barely have time to snap a photo!
